This center catalyzes interdisciplinary interaction among Stanford faculty and students interested in affective science, broadly defined as the study of motivation and emotion. Our affiliates include the Stanford Institute for Research in the Social Sciences, the Wu Tsai Neurosciences Institute, and the Stanford Humanities Center.
